He started working in 1959 in the position of a locksmith plumber at the Odessa Shipyard №1, and after the end of the Odessa seaworthy school was a stoker and mechanic on tankers, passenger ships andcargo vessels. After he has finished OVIMU, he worked on ships. Then he worked on the ships of foreign companies. Also he worked as the superintendent of the Greek shipping company.

After graduating from the BMU in 1980, he began working as a seafarer, and then became an assistant captain in the GMF. After the end of OVIMU continued work navigators in the GMF. Then he worked on container ships as a senior assistant in foreign companies until 2017.

He began his career in 1963 as a fitter at the Odessa Shipyard №2. Then he continued to work in ASPTR BSC as a minder.

After graduation, VOIMU served as a mechanic on the motor ships. After the liquidation of the IMP he served as a senior mechanic on the ships of various foreign companies until 2015.

After the BMU in 1969, began working at sea on oil tankers. From small boats with semi-automatic control to modern big tankers.

After OVIMU he was sent to the third head mechanic at the tanker "Victory", built in 1982. After more than 15 years of work on the tankers , he began his work on ships of foreign companies as a senior engineer.

After the WMD MMF in 1972 was sent to the Black Sea Shipping Company, where he worked until 1996.
He started his career as a steersman and become captain on various types of vessels.
From 1997 to 2015 he worked as a captain on tankers and chemical tankers in various foreign companies.
